Release & Curing

Prosurface Retarder

Prosurface Retarder is a water-based top-surface retarder that does not require plastic covering for protection. It can be used for full exposure of aggregates up to 32 mm.

It diffuses into the cement paste during the first hours of curing and slows down cement hydration. During the first 16 hours of curing, the bulk concrete hardens while the retarded surface layer remains unhardened.
